The Intellist® identifies Possible Issues and Actual Issues with their contributing Facts and provides an explanation and a proposition suggesting how the issues can be resolved.
Possible Issues are shown in yellow. They are those situations where the answer to the active Fact may conflict with but is not mutually exclusive with one or more other Facts. The user may change the answer of the current Fact or any of the contributing Facts to resolve the Possible Issue, or add a note of explanation in the Update Log and decide leave the Possible Issue as is.
Actual Issues are shown in red. They are those situations where the answer to the active Fact is mutually exclusive with the answer to one or more other Facts. Actual Issues must be resolved before continuing by changing the answer to one of the mutually exclusive Facts.
When only but all required Facts have been validly answered, all Fact Groups will be green and the Intellist® is complete.
